With interests extending beyond scalarity and tangibility of built volumes; the multi disciplinary practice has evolved beyond realities as an attempt at elicitng positive lifestyle choices through design.
The Practice is headed by Ashfaq Fazil, an Architect / Computational designer. With a Masters in Advanced Architecture (MAA) from the Institute of Advanced Architecture of Catalonia(IAAC) in Barcelona, Spain, Ashfaq is often influenced by narratives from different timelines which is apparent through his passion for pop culture and emerging technologies.
He began his architectural journey from the College of Architecture Trivandrum after which he went on working with eminent architects in the country. His key professional experiences include working for Ar. N. M Salim in Calicut for large scale public competitions as well as volunteering with Urban City Lab Bangalore for the Kochi Muziris Biennale 2016.
He believes that ‘space’ is all about creating opportunities for a better lifestyle choice -physically and mentally. His design approach mostly centers on understanding how spaces can best reflect the true personality of its user, making each space unique and distinctive in its own way.
Still largely driven by creativity and curiosity, he aims to be known as a multi-disciplinary practice that aesthetically and rationally binds the various parameters of design and building technology.
